GENERAL SUMMARY
Munson Healthcare is seeking an excellent Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan.
In this position you'll provide clinical occupational health services, demonstrating competence in the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations provided to patients, employers, and payors. Specialty examinations include: employment physicals, DOT physical exams, respiratory physical exams, merchant mariner exams, return to work exams, and fit for duty exams. Treatment of Occupational Health injuries and illnesses including: laceration treatment and care, general injury care, minor wound care, and post-exposure care.
The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care. Registration with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is preferred (or obtain within 3 months of employment). Medical Review Officer certification and experience and knowledge of Michigan's Worker's Compensation regulations is desired.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
Board certified or board eligible
MI license or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Michigan
