Position Summary:
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Central Michigan University seeks a full-time fixed-term faculty to teach biochemistry and chemistry labs and/or lectures during the spring 2025 semester. Reappointment for 2025-2026 is possible contingent on performance and departmental course enrollments.
The full-time, benefit eligible appointment begins January 9, 2024.
Benefit-eligible, fixed-term faculty appointed for the spring 2025 semester will receive benefits from January 1, 2025 through August 15, 2025.
Required Qualifications:
• MS or PhD in Biochemistry or Chemistry.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching college lectures and/or labs.

The CMU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers degrees at the BS and MS level in chemistry and biochemistry. Interdisciplinary PhD degrees are offered with other CMU departments.
