COSMETOLOGIST TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports To: Salon Owner or Salon Coordinator
Basic Function: Service Clients
Requirements:
- Cosmetology License
- Previous experience in another salon
- Expertise in all phases of cosmetology including, but not limited to: haircuts, perms and coloring
Responsibilities:
- Service all customers as assigned
- Be able to conform to all salon rules and philosophies
- Use salon supplies in an economical manner
- Keep assigned area clean
- Arrive at salon at least 15 minutes before scheduled shift begins
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Continuing Education
- Product knowledge
- Create a display
- Answer phone in receptionist’s absence
- Assist other technicians if needed
- Be a team player
