Job Description

COSMETOLOGIST TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports To: Salon Owner or Salon Coordinator

Basic Function: Service Clients

Requirements:

Cosmetology License
Previous experience in another salon
Expertise in all phases of cosmetology including, but not limited to: haircuts, perms and coloring

Responsibilities:

Service all customers as assigned
Be able to conform to all salon rules and philosophies
Use salon supplies in an economical manner
Keep assigned area clean
Arrive at salon at least 15 minutes before scheduled shift begins

Other Duties as Assigned:

Continuing Education
Product knowledge
Create a display
Answer phone in receptionist’s absence
Assist other technicians if needed
Be a team player

Additional Requirements

We work Tuesday - Saturday and have two late nights: Wednesday - Thursday when we work 10:00 am-6:00 pm. Tuesday, Friday & Saturday we work: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. We stand for periods of time at events in the community and the candidate will need to be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
