The Senior Inside Sales team member is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing quotes, taking customer orders, ordering and sourcing products, and consistent communication with customers. Efficient expedition of all customer transactions and responding to customer needs appropriately. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide quotes and take customer orders.
- Order and source products.
- Negotiate sale and purchase prices.
- Proactively generate sales and promote Company product lines.
- Assist with customer returns.
- Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns.
- Ability to secure new customer accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand product configurations, utilize sales knowledge through ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Comply with all Fluidyne Fluid Power employee conduct and policies contained in the Employee Handbook.
Education Requirements
- ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Associate Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience in related field.
Skill Requirements
- Inside Sales experience in manufacturing / supply chain / distribution environment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) and demonstrated active listening.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict quickly and effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, type, talk and read.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check, pre-placement health appraisal, and drug screening.
