Summary
The Deductions Coordinator will be responsible for effectively researching, analyzing, documenting, and resolving a variety of deduction claims in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of deductions activities to develop and enforce strategies that maximize company cash flow and mitigate write offs of aged transactions.
Maintain organized records of deductions and resolutions, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Interface with various business units to research the validity of deductions that identify root-cause and drive process improvement, while optimizing revenue.
Collaborate cross functionally with Credit Analysts, Customer Care, Distribution and Logistics, Finance, Sales, Pricing and Vendor Compliance teams to deliver operational improvements that drive reductions to on-going aged items.
Play an integral role to ensure follow up with stakeholders.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external business partners to facilitate open communication and resolve issues effectively.
Education
Associate's Degree Required in Accounting/Finance
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B Credit, Collections & Deductions environmentÂ
Applied Knowledge of Deductions Processes and Procedures with strong analytical skills
Experience with large ERP, SAP preferred (UDM Specific)
Advanced MS Office Suite skills including Excel for report building and complex data manipulation (VLOOKUP, Formulas, Pivot Tables)
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels including management and external parties
Ability to prioritize work and effectively work on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment under strict timelines. Prudent negotiation skills exemplifying sound judgement and decision-making ability
Detail and process oriented with mindfulness of accuracy
