To evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic spine complaints to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician. The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years or more of outpatient orthopedic experience with a strong interest in teamwork and collaboration.
This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with spine, and general orthopedic complaints to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.
- Master's or DPT degree in physical therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
- Satisfactory completion of an internship program is necessary.
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient treatment is necessary.
- Possession of a current state license to practice physical therapy in Michigan is necessary.
- Experience with Ortho/Spine is required.
Graduate Non-Certified Patient Care Technician (Underfill) Qualifications:
- Post-Graduate learning as applicable and actively pursuing the appropriate certification/registration/licensure for their profession is required.
General orthopedic/Spine outpatient experience or Orthopedic Residency program completion is preferred.
This position is 40 hours a week with a requirement to be part of our closing team. Our clinic is open 7 Am to 7 PM M-F, currently no weekend clinic hours. There is an option for 8 or 10 hour days which will determine start times. Final determination of schedule will be made during the interview process.
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
