Description:
Oversees clinic administrative practice. Works collaboratively with lead physician to support clinical practice operations.
Works in a dyad leadership role with the Lead Physician to achieve an excellent patient-centered experience, superior health outcomes and optimal financial performance in order to further the mission of the organization. Responsible for providing 24/7 leadership to support the efficient and effective operational and financial performance of the designated practices as well as supporting goals of the organization including: lean processes and change management, planning, human resource management, financial accountability, facility oversight, quality assessment and improvement, regulatory compliance and productivity management. Responsible for developing and implementing the department specific tactical plan that is in alignment with the overall integrated health system strategic plan. Collaborates with a care team of clinical, administrative and medical staff to guide continual process improvement initiative in the adoption of evidence-based practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility, experience, and education.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in the clinical discipline appropriate to the clinical area for specified area. Master's degree in Business, Nursing, Public Health, Health Services Administration or related field
Preferred: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan or Registration or Certification in applicable clinical profession for specified area.
Minimum: Two years of leadership experience
Preferred: Basic understanding of medical coding, billing and collections. Experience with process improvement, team engagement initiatives, and/or clinical experience.
