Position Summary:
Supports the day-to-day functions and operations of McLaren Health Care Corporation's legal department. Performs administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned or as necessary to maintain an efficient and high-functioning legal department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned:
Manages assigned calendars and independently schedules appointments.
Answers and screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when appropriate.
Drafts, reviews and edits documents and correspondence, including emails, formal letters, memoranda, contracts and other routine legal documents and filings.
Develops and maintains current contract templates and other standard legal documents and resources in a centralized electronic database.
Prepares PowerPoint presentations, and other educational materials as requested.
Prepares reports, work plans and other complex documents as requested.
Organizes and maintains legal department files and corporate documents in a centralized electronic database.
Coordinates with outside counsel and assembles and distributes information and documents related to litigation, investigations and other legal matters.
Assumes responsibility for coordinating and/or participating in special projects as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Associate's degree in paralegal studies or a related field.
One year significant project and document management experience.
One year previous health care related job experience
