The Opportunity
As the Chief of Staff, you will function as an executive advisor to the President of Strategic Advisory & Lifecycle Resiliency Services (SALRS). You will have the opportunity to:
Execute operational excellence with focus on driving key strategic objectives including sales performance to goals
Expand the bandwidth and effectiveness of the President and ensuring that the SALRS organization is highly effective
Be responsible for the support and facilitation of the SALRS Leadership Team objectives
Ensure that the SALRS leadership is best in class, processes and governance are defined, effective and communicated and information sharing, and decision rights are efficient and drive results
Build partnerships across the business and advocate for the business objectives and strategy with the broader organization
Anticipate challenges that require diplomacy and need immediate attention
Provide leadership that influences better time management, flow of information to and from the SALRS President, and seeing that the President is prepared and rarely surprised
Key Responsibilities
Based on leading practices across the consulting industry, identify and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvements and anticipate and avert problems to support SALRS in achieving goals
Provide thoughtful inputs into the direction of the SALRS organization leveraging experience that spans across a myriad of heavy industry sectors and segments
Execute strategic initiatives tied to SALRS growth strategy including designing and supporting facilitation of innovation workshops, leading efforts to identify, launch and drive critical growth campaigns and support team culture development efforts and events
As required, serve as an extension of or proxy for the SALRS President in various meetings and regular activities including internal team meetings, client interactions, PRBs, Project Reviews, Proposal Development and other areas as agreed to.
Prioritizes President's time, travel and schedule in coordination with the President's Executive Assistant and own the agenda and action register for the extended leadership staff meetings
Oversees and manages communications (including routine newsletters, town halls, etc.) in coordination with internal and external coordinating teams
Supports President in meetings by synthesizing key insights and generating tangible action that is clearly assigned for completion across the appropriate stakeholders, assuring commitments result in outcomes
Serve as an informed and engaged advisor to business leadership. Engage productively and proactively in business discussions. Cultivate partnering relationships with management and professionals.
Actively consult and provide solutions related to workforce and organizational matters in partnership with HR to the President and Senior Leaders to ensure consistent communication and involvement on decision making at the required time
Support SALRS President, in conjunction with finance/strategy/marketing, in preparation of Executive Leadership Team presentations
Aid in the development of SALRS Strategy and help ensure that regular updates are occurring based on market/business/client trends
Develop relationship and coordinate with Chief of Staffs in Sectors, Regions, Operations, etc.
Work closely with SALRS Leadership Team and HR Partner to align professional development to prepare our emerging Leaders for growth opportunities
Anticipate workforce needs and develops or applies forward-thinking solutions. Interprets workforce analytics based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies and creates compelling messages for leadership.
In conjunction with HR and Corporate Org Effectiveness groups, support leaders in chartering, building, and maintaining high performing teams.
Work with SALRS Business Leaders to develop quarterly Leadership Team strategy meetings
Work with groups within each business to ensure leadership is prepared for external and internal client meetings
Meet with and coordinate IT efforts in support of the business.
Be mindful of the culture and ensure SALRS professionals are in compliance with required training and company policies
Design and coordinate annual Leadership off-site team alignment/strategy session
Drive a monthly cadence on the review, insights and reporting of all the SALRS key activities, KPIs and planned deliverables
Partner with Finance on budget and financial performance oversight
Department Head position with budgetary responsibility is it pertains to Chief of Staff duties outlined above
Management Responsibilities
Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
Client services experience
12-15+ years of business experience progressing through leadership roles and assignments that provide broad multi-functional capability

Preferred Qualifications
Consulting, PM or commercial leadership role
Supervisory experience or oversight of project teams
Degree in business, economics, finance or engineering preferred
