The Physical Security Specialist implements the Corporate Physical Security Program. The program is overseen by the SVP/Operations & Risk. This individual is responsible for enforcing all aspects of the Community Financial Credit Union Physical Security Manual. This individual provides monitoring and reporting of the results of the physical security efforts of the organization and provides guidance on matters relating to physical Security issues.
This position has a starting hourly rate of $26.11, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferrable skills.
A Day in the life of a Physical Security Specialist can look like:
Act as a channel of communication for receiving and directing physical security issues. Act as an independent review/evaluation body to ensure that physical security issues are appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.
Perform the steps needed to achieve the objectives of Community Financial Credit Union Physical Security Manual as well as regular reports about physical security efforts and violations.
Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulation, policies, and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.
Monitor, maintain, and revise with the help of the SVP/Operations & Risk the Physical Security Program, a reporting process, a system to handle violations,
Perform role of Physical Security Officer for the Credit Union.
What you bring to the table:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of experience in the financial industry or 1 year of experience in the physical security industry.
Proficiency using Excel and Word.
You might also have:
3 years of experience in the financial industry and/or physical security industry.
