Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
General administrative, clerical, and analytical tasks to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal law. This position requires strict confidentiality along with strong, ethical behavior characteristics.
Follows legal requirements by studying existing law and new legislative; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Responsible for administrative duties relating to; Affirmative Action, Family Medical Leave, Military Leave, State Leave, Unemployment Claim Management, Sarbanes Oxley Audits, Regulatory Reporting (EEO-1, Vets 4212, OFCCP) and more.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action; auditing outcomes.
Provides corporate direction and guidance to plants to identify and clarify problems; evaluating potential solutions; coaching and counseling HR community.
Completes human resources projects by setting goals, objectives and action items; develops and organizes information; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues, preparing reports; communicating change management.
Prepares information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Maintains management and associate confidence and protects organizational operations by keeping information confidential, cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
4+ years of professional Human Resources experience.
Exposure to employment law and compliance preferred.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
