Position Summary
Applicants should have either completed their requirements for a Ph.D. or be close to completing their Ph.D. requirements in Engineering. Any discipline (e.g., Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science), with a clear interest in the general area of multi-agent systems, optimization and game theory are encouraged to apply.
Specific areas of research include:
- Game-theory
- Optimization and learning
- Stochastic systems
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assumes a pivotal role as the primary contributor on multi-agent pursuit algorithm design, development, analysis and evaluation in software
- Administers and documents the research findings and software developed using Git and other relevant tools.
- Participates in the lab’s outreach activities related to the research carried out.
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate and explain research findings and technical details to the customers and various stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications
Strong mathematical and analytic skills are desired. Experience with hardware implementation will be a plus.
