Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT) empowers students to succeed in the diverse

processing to forestry. With 15 certificate programs and several locations across the

Responsibilities: Reporting to the IAT Director, the Academic Affairs and Recruitment
Coordinator will collaborate with program coordinators to enhance student experiences
and achieve strategic goals. Key responsibilities include:
• Advising and Student Support (50%): Provide guidance on degree
requirements, leveraging MSU's student information systems. Facilitate
professional development opportunities for coordinators and engage in
university-level meetings to support student success initiatives
• Curriculum Development (30%): Oversee curriculum updates, accreditation
processes, and enrollment management. Analyze data to inform program
enhancements and resource allocation decisions.
• Recruitment and Outreach (20%): Develop and execute strategic
recruitment plans in collaboration with community colleges. Integrate
marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and broaden access to IAT
programs.

Required Degree
Masters -Agriculture, natural resources, higher education
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s degree in agriculture, natural resources, higher education, curriculum
development, student affairs, or a related field.
• Three years of professional experience in higher education, with a focus on
program management and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and student-centered
practices.
Desired Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
• Five years of experience in recruitment, admissions, student affairs, or advising
within higher education.
• Proficiency in data analytics and experience with curriculum development and
accreditation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse
stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
