Description
Robert Half is partnering with one of their well-established construction clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Accounting Clerk to support their Superintendent.

Starting Salary: $55,000 - $75,00
Responsibilities:
Manage customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account monitoring
Process customer applications in an accurate and efficient manner
Maintain accurate customer records for future references
Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Process invoices and perform data entry tasks as required
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as per the company's policies
Perform billing tasks, ensuring all bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner
Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports
Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role in the construction industry
Proficient in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)
Experience with billing processes and invoice processing
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
