Manufacturing Tech - Senior Manager

Your Key Responsibilities
The role of Manufacturing Tech - Senior Manager will be to identify and close sales opportunities and provide technology consulting services to our manufacturing clients to help them improve business performance.
Mentor, coach and counsel team members, and help us build an inclusive culture and high-performing teams
Help build pipeline and drive digital manufacturing sales, working closely with account teams and domain leaders
Maximize operational efficiencies on project engagements
Enhance the EY brand through strong external relationships across a network of existing and future clients and alliance partners
Provide strategic and relevant insight, connectedness and responsiveness to our clients to anticipate their needs
Stay current with the latest trends in the digital manufacturing domain to be a trusted advisor and subject-matter resource for our client's business

To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of related work experience.
8 or more years of significant experience within MES/manufacturing industry and extensive experience within the following: performing MES business requirements analysis and specifications, system design, application software configuration, development, testing, installation, start-up, and maintenance and providing guidance for, system integration and application design, architecture development and support for MES platforms including but not limited to Critical Manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with the Critical Manufacturing MES system
Experience designing, configuring, integrating, and testing / validating MES systems within GMP-regulated life science manufacturing environments
Prior experience providing design and configuration of computer system solutions in support of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems.
Possess understanding of various methodologies and standards required for project controls.
Knowledge within software/systems technology and direct solution development capabilities with an MES platform and (MS SQL).
Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and developing new business opportunities
Flexibility to work across people, business and technology consulting services as needed to pursue sales opportunities and deliver engagements
Possess independent knowledge, skills and experience in computer programming, database design, and software configuration, with majority of skills successfully executed within one or more manufacturing industries.
Experience with level-3 systems and integration to level-2 & 4, and emerging, Industry 4.0 technologies
Must be able to demonstrate and communicate understanding of both manufacturing business process execution and computer systems architecture in multiple industries.
Ability to work remotely from home via video meeting technologies to pursue sales opportunities, build client relationships and deliver engagements.
Willingness to travel up to 60% and a valid driver's license
Ideally, you'll also have
Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master's degree in one of these areas preferred
Certification (Modeler, Developer, etc.) for Critical Manufacturing MES highly preferred
Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $169,900 to $388,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $203,900 to $441,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
