Position Summary
The project coordinator will assist in the management in science education research project in secondary science chemistry and physics classes in Alabama and North Carolina, which will include coordinating with all members of the team during the five years of the project. The five years of the project will include a development phase, a field test, randomized control trial, and follow-up. The responsibilities include: maintaining a calendar; working collaboratively with the faculty, partners, graduate and undergraduate students, and university staff; managing logistics for event planning, conferences, and travel; collaborating with independent evaluator in data collection and management; coordinating communication with the schools and teachers participating in the project; coordinating with the budget manager; upholding deadlines for key milestones and reports to the US Department of Education.
