TheProject Lead works closely with the Content Teams that are responsible for analyzing, creating, and delivering content that enhances customer research capabilities. In this role you will drive business-critical projects from inception to delivery while improving processes and managing stakeholder relationships. We are looking for someone who can pay careful attention to detail. This position is located in Alexandria, or Ann Arbor and offers a hybrid schedule 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
About You - education, experience, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
5 years of experience driving projects forward across multiple departments, delivering results within agreed-upon timelines and budgets
5 years of experience establishing and maintaining collaborative, positive working relationships with all levels of employees and multidisciplinary teams
5 years of experience developing clear and concise "big picture" view of key problems and offering strategic solutions

What will you be doing in this role?
Advise Product Management on strategic project choices, ensuring they stay within overall project budget
Apply creative solutions to complex problems and develop new ideas and concepts
Drive implementation of technological and organizational solutions that scale across the organization
Anticipate market trends and demands as they relate to current capabilities
Advocate for personnel and technical resources across Content groups to ensure project success
Manage multiple intra-departmental workstreams
Identify, communicate, and resolve departmental areas of concern that may impede or impact other projects/initiatives
Manage Content projects from concept through the planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and transition phases
Drive Content projects forward toward timely delivery and to specified requirements
Communicate with stakeholders and senior leadership about strategic initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in Product Management, UX, Development, and executive leadership
About the Team
The ProQuest One Team operates within Content Operations and is focused on strategy, execution management, and governance of ProQuest One Products. These products combine dozens of legacy products into a single offering, enabling cross-search and enhancing discoverability. Building PQ1 Products requires coordination among many teams to execute.This role sits on a multi-faceted team that functions as a shared-services group. The Project Lead will report to a Senior Manager (PQ1 Portfolio Manager) along with her three current reports:a Program Manager (portfolio-wide project management), and two Domain Experts (schema, content enhancement, migrations).
Hours of Work
Full time, permanent
Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required
Hybrid position (2-3 days a week required in the office)
