Mechanical Engineer
Key Role:
Applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems, instrumentation, design of experiments, test and evaluation, data analysis, and visualization. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Builds, develops, validates, and implements simulation models and algorithms.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
Experience using PTC Creo and Solidworks
Experience creating or modifying CAD 3D models and performing engineering analyses based on modeling data obtained
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Experience conducting Whole System Trade Analysis for tracked and wheeled vehicles
Experience with complex problem analysis, multiple objective decision analysis, and systems modeling
Knowledge of Tableau, R, Matlab, or MagicDraw
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
