As a warehouse operator, you will create, coordinate and complete shipments of goods between the Company and ourclients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performdaily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function.
Adhereto specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value-add services, as required, and in accordance to DSV Air & Sea standard policies and procedures.
Meetcompany objectives in the areas of performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
Workwith the supervisor, warehouse manager and freight forwarding teams to identify areas to improve/enhance overall service to the client.
Unloadinbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination. Efficiently stage, stack and load the merchandise in the appropriate areas
Efficiently moveproduct from staging and/or unloading areas into the correct load door and the assigned trailer. Ensurethat the trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering the trailer in accordance to the safety polices.
Loads/Unloads product correctly using the appropriate handling techniques. Segregate, check and stage inbound product correctly.
Verify the driver, trailer, and bills match thecarrier and destination. Countfreight with the driver and ensure all requirements are followed. Loadthe trailer for safe transit and ensurethe driver signs all required paperwork.
Performall Forklift activities as required.
Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packingand repacking as needed

ULD Management/Build Up

Maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications at all times.
Accomplishall job tasks in a manner that promotes safety
Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work areaand assist in security of the warehouse.
Complywith all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site specific policies, safety rules, Pharmaceutical Regulations, TSA Regulations, US Customs Regulations and OSHA/ MSDS Standards.
Help train new or transferred employees in the day-to-day activities, if necessary
Performother duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma (or equivalent)
One yearof relevant work experience in warehousing, forklift, customer service and logistics preferred
Must provide documentation to support US employment eligibility
Computer Skills
Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Mathematical Skills
Basic level required with the ability to verify inventory, order accuracy, and other quality driven initiatives.
Other Skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented, organized and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communication orally and in writing
High level of customer service skills
