SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE PRODUCTION (1 position)
Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge in food service preparation, sanitation, and food service equipment
- ServSafe Certification or willingness and ability to obtain ServSafe Certification
- Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for students and staff being served, while maintaining a safe,
- positive, and productive work environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Ability to effectively communicate with school and district stakeholders as needed
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening skills)
- Willingness and commitment to include equity, social justice, and inclusion in all practices
- Ability to be enthusiastic and flexible
- Ability to abide by all district policies and procedures
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, squat, climb, and reach
- Excellent attendance record
Hours: Approximately 5 hours per day, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday on full school days
Location: East Grand Rapids Middle School (with occasional support in other buildings)
Start Date: As Mutually Agreed Upon
Compensation: Per the Support Staff Contract, Food Service Classification, Production
