In this position...
You will be responsible for analysis of warranty spend, identification of actions and opportunities, and leading team delivery and processes. We need your leadership to guide Ford with warranty analytics and how we determine and find the most important projects to work on first. Become the leader in warranty analytics, create a prioritized funnel of ideas, and interface directly with senior management as we work to redesign our warranty process.

What you'll do...
Lead analysis of warranty spend and forecasted lifetime cost impact to identify highest leverage warranty cost opportunities
Prioritize action plans to drive warranty cost reduction funnel
Support teams in determining type of actions required to realize warranty cost improvement (Pricing action, markup assessment, etc.)
Lead weekly review of progress to plan on moving opportunities to booked actions as well as identifying emerging risks and how they fit into the overall prioritization
Lead development / improvement of the process and tools that support the warranty cost reduction process
Leads resolution of cross functional issues within Hardware and Software and coordinates on cross vehicles issues
Incorporates with forward model and lifecycle teams to coordinate a total cost delivery including Warranty spend
Provide guidance, leadership, and training to team members on warranty processes
Stay updated on developments and innovations in the warranty industry
You'll have...
Bachelors Degree in Engineering required
Ability to make decisions and trade-offs
Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross-functional teams (Program, Studio, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers)
Able to manage multiple issues on multiple commodities effectively and efficiently
Outstanding communication skills (open, clear and inclusive) including senior management presentations
Outstanding organizational/ delegation skills with the proper follow up to accomplish multiple objectives simultaneously
Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results
High integrity with effective coaching and mentoring skills
Availability to travel globally as requires, including extensive on-site launch support.
Even better, you may have...
Masters in Engineering or MBA preferred
5+ years experience in Integration/ Functional team
Demonstrated Production Launch experience
Strong fundamentals and knowledge of Warranty, Cost, and Studio deliverable
Experience with Software implementation, Features, and Electrification and EV commodities
