Physical Therapy Assistant - Per Diem ( Weekdays Only!)

As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLCPhysical Therapy Assistant at West Branch Ambulatory Care Center, you will be responsible for administering Physical Therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff Physical Therapist. You will also administer treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff Physical Therapist, after the PT has first evaluated the patient and assisted with restoration of patient functionality to prevent disability following injury, disease of physical disability. You will be helping patients to reach their maximum performance and level of function while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Physical Therapy Assistants participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities within the department, and participate in CQI.
Schedule:This per diem, nonexempt position will work a minimum of 4 hours/month up to 19 hours/week between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays required!
About the Facility:West Branch Ambulatory Care Center focuses on orthopedics, neurosurgery, and medical specialty services for adult and pediatric patients. Patients who are either acute or outpatient are helped to heal and improve their quality of life through a treatment plan of physical therapy, occupational therapy and/or speech and language pathology. The Care Center serves those in the counties of Ogemaw, Oscoda, Roscommon, Arenac and Iosco. This brand new, state of the art clinic is conveniently located at the intersection of M-76 and Airport Road just outside of West Branch. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the clinic through our division, CPS Rehabilitation Services,to manage day-to-day operations. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Ambulatory Center:TheCenter's operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm and/or earlier or later appointments as patients may need.
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree (AS) in Physical Therapy Assisting
Required: 1 year of inpatient acute and outpatient treatment experience
Preferred: Inpatient care and outpatient treatment with 2-5 or more years of experience
Hospital Requirements:
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months - must be the 2-step process
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
List of immunizations provided to the hospital/facility.
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th, or completed declination form.
