INTERNSHIP FORMAT
In-Person: The format for this internship will be in-person, where the intern will be required to work on-site at one of our metro-Detroit locations with occasional travel to suppliers.Some interns may be eligible for housing assistance per company policy.
INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
When: The internship program will run from May 19 - August 8, 2025.
Where: All internships are in the United States. Even remote work assignments must be completed within the United States.
Transportation: Interns are responsible for getting to and from work daily. Stellantis does not provide transportation to interns.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS
In this role you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the automotive industry. Supplier Quality Engineering ensures capable supplier processes in order to guarantee the right quality and quantity of parts, on time, that meet customers' expectations. Supplier Quality Engineers partner with suppliers to review manufacturing processes, develop quality systems and ensure the highest quality components will be provided for our vehicles. Supplier Quality Engineers make sure all supplied parts are robust, repeatable and conform to dimensional and performance requirements. We strive for best-in-class quality and warranty by developing suppliers who provide zero defects and exceed customer expectations. Supplier Quality Engineers utilize skills to identify and resolve vehicle issues at both Stellantis manufacturing plants and supplier facilities.
Internship projects are available within multiple commodity areas (Body/Exterior, Interior, Chassis, Electrical, Propulsion and ePropulsion), the Supplier Integration Management team, the Process, Methods and Warranty team or within the Supplier Quality Assembly team.

Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.
Must be willing and able to work in a plant environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Biomedical/Biomechanical/Bioengineering, Welding, Materials, Metallurgical, Mechatronics or related field
Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2025
GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
Ability to travel
