Grand Traverse Machine is seeking a self-motivated person requiring minimal supervision to work as a Quality Assurance Inspector. Successful candidate will have hands-on shop floor experience and be able to: Interpret machine tool prints (GD&T knowledge a plus), Set up and use all traditional machinist gages including dial, vernier and digital types. Must be skilled in mathematics. (Prior Quality Control experience helpful). Check parts to prints. Work overtime when scheduled. Have excellent communication skills - verbal, written, listening - are a must. Position requires a strong work ethic and high standards for quality, organization and workmanship. Wage is commensurate with experience.
