This role is remote. Must be located near a major airport.
How You'll Make an Impact
This position will be responsible for managing OEM account relationships, gaining new OEM customers, coordinating with the Global OEM team, and helping to define growth strategies. The emphasis of the position will be on North American OEM's and Strategic Accounts. Coordination at the global level is required in order to ensure a successful global relationship with OEM customers.
In the role, you would be responsible for:
Daily oversight of a book of accounts to include support of customer product supply issues, customer service, support for credit and account receivables and profit management, as well as conflict resolution.
Maintaining current and developing new relationships with key OEM's / Strategic Accounts to allow for efficient communication and information flow between organizations to strengthen global partnerships and provide for additional growth platforms.
Developing and implementing strategies to attain global growth targets. Position will work with other Global Sales Resources, Marketing, Technology, Supply Chain, Product Management, Valvoline Senior Management and other key global partners, to develop and execute strategic growth platforms to strengthen our OEM / Strategic Account relationships and financial results.
Coordinating with global Finance team as to maintaining global volume, sales, and profit results to monitor progress and manage P&L to deliver sales and profit objectives.
Traveling to customers domestically and internationally, as well as global Valvoline locations supporting the OEM / Strategic Accounts programs, as needed, to be successful at the above objectives.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need
BS/BA Degree
Minimum of five years' experience in sales/service
Strong customer sales/service experience
Should be a self-starter with the ability to manage projects and objectives independently and see them through to completion
Demonstrated capability to manage customers or other large external relationships successfully
Demonstrated strong negotiating skills in high pressure environments
Ability to think critically and creatively while positioning Valvoline to win in the global marketplace
Ability to think through scenarios with a global perspective as well as navigate successfully with other cultures
High levels of organizational and planning skills are required, as well as a willingness to build strategic relationships with key customers. This would include leading global resource teams, coordinating global and cross functional projects, developing and delivering executive level presentations, and developing and executing global sales and marketing strategies
Experience in financial analysis and understanding profit drivers and optimization opportunities
Responsiveness and a high attention to detail are critical skills in this role. In addition, familiarity with business growth levers including revenue, volume, share, opportunity cost, and return on investment calculations is needed
Ability to travel - up to 40% with overnight travel approx. 25%
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
