Job Summary
To accumulate, analyze and organize information from various sources in order to prioritize, schedule and assign a diverse work force to facilitate the implementation of new business, projects and emergency work on the electrical system. Key Accountabilities

Schedule, analyze and assign work routes for routine and trouble calls.
Analyze job packages for scheduling constraints, equipment needs, resource type and material release.
Coordinate notification and close out for field activities and job status.
Use various computer applications and software packages to perform daily functions to include communication with both field and non-field personnel.
Assist in preparing/analyzing requests for shutdown.
During emergency, call in and dispatch crews as directed.
Set goals and objectives and managing diversity.
Schedule work of others and giving work direction, and/or managing work flow.
Support the implementation of new programs, initiatives or solutions consists of answering questions or disseminating information.
Identify the problem with respect to availability of information used to make decisions, facts are available but may not directly relate to the issue, therefore, requiring further research and refinement. Solve problems encountered involves examining and analyzing information in accordance with existing principles and practices.
Develop ideas on a positive impact on existing methods, services, or procedures. In the absence of guidelines or standard operating procedures. Develop recommendations and solution(s). Identify and solve the problems and implementate.
Exchange of factual information with Leadership outside and inside own organization.
Exchanges factual information (advises/mentors) with auditors, city/state regulatory agencies, community leaders, community organizations, elected government officials, industrial customers, industry associations, outside legal services, professional contacts/associations, and prospective customers.
Occasional persuading or influencing.
Weekly participation in meetings or group discussions.
Daily advising or recommending, directing or delegating, and problem solving.
Occasional preparation of form letters and internal memoranda.
Monthly preparation of reports numerical/narrative) and weekly preparation of proposals.

Qualifications
Minimum: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of job-relevant experience in a job role such as Operations Resource Coordinator, Power Dispatcher, Primary Callback Coordinator, Associate Analyst Computer Applications Specialist, Senior Support Specialist - Planning & Design, Support Specialist - Planning & Design, Senior Support Specialist - Service Operations & Support Specialist - Service Operations. The preferred formal education level is high school or equivalent. The minimum prior job-related experience necessary to do this job is three years, but less than five years. To be fully proficient in this job at least five years but less than seven years prior job-related experience is necessary.
Other Requirements
This job requires a working knowledge of CRT/keyboard usage, data filing, internal customer service, PC applications software (spreadsheets, graphics, database managers, etc.), telephone skills, and timekeeping practices.
This job requires a working knowledge of outage management and service restoration management.
This job requires a working knowledge of service planning and service restoration.
This job requires a working knowledge of material/stock handling and storage and records management.
This job requires an expert knowledge of dispatching.
