The Staff Accountant is responsible for analyzing accounts, preparing journal entries, creating accounting reports, and participating in monthly close. Responsibilities
Analyzes GL entries for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards
Reviews assigned accounts, prepares journal entries, reviews accuracy, and investigates variances
Process A/P and A/R functions, i.e. vendor debits and credits
Assists Sr. Finance Manager with fiscal period-end closing and reporting activities
Reconciles physical inventory results to internal inventory records and prepares inventory status reporting
Prepare and validate supplier credits
Assist with preparation of annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-term planning
