Are you looking for flexible hours, a fun work environment and free golf? Alpena Golf Course is looking for a dedicated part-time Cook to join our team!

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Prepare food as to the satisfaction of our guests in the manner set forth by the management
• Be able to cook Burgers & Fries, Burritos, Sandwiches, Eggs, & a General Golf Course Menu
• Be able to read food tickets & work at a fast pace
• Have a strong team spirit
• Clean work area's and help with dishes as needed, to include running dishwasher
• Take orders and serve food and/or beverages
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
• Clean work areas and help with where needed
• Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Must present a neat and clean appearance
• Be able work at a fast pace, and have a strong team spirit
• Wash and fill condiment trays keeping everything full
• Make coffee for customers 
• Put groceries away in their proper locations, may include refrigerator and freezers
• Take out all garbage to the dumpster and replace trash bags
• Change deep fryer every week or strain grease and ensure area are clean and safe
• Weigh and package all frozen foods
• Weigh and measure product
• Rotate all stock according to dates, freshness, etc
• Treat all our customers as guests and give them our proper attention
• Work with other employees to meet guest needs and achieve a harmonious environment

Additional Duties:

• Keep the visual appearance of the Club House and surrounding are appealing to all
• Check all lighting and replace any bulbs that are needed
• Wash windows when needed
• Empty ashtrays and wastebaskets regularly
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Stock hand towels, soap and toilet paper in bathrooms
• Wash toilets, mirrors and sinks
• Keep your area as prepared for business as you would want to find it when you arrive for your next shift
