Job Purpose and Overview
As the Supply Chain Project Manager, this role ensures critical cross-functional collaboration, manages complex projects, and implements innovative solutions that optimize processes and drives efficiency across the Distribution network within Dawn. This position is responsible for end-to end project management and governance for key Supply Chain programs, including distribution center capital expenditures (CapEx), transformational initiatives (e.g., WMS and voice picking), real estate/lease renewals/new builds, Business Plan Execution (BPE), and continuous improvement/productivity initiatives. This role ensures that all projects within the Supply Chain portfolio are executed on time, within scope, and on budget.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Distribution Services Supply Chain (DSSC) leadership team and Distribution Market Leaders to drive successful execution of Supply Chain programs. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a proven track record in managing complex initiatives, expertise in change management, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
This is a remote opportunity with travel up to 25%. The preferred time zone for this candidate would be Eastern (EST) or Central (CST).
What will you do as a Supply Chain Project Managerat Dawn Foods?
Project Planning and Execution:Develop and maintain comprehensive project artifacts for all Supply Chain programs, including project charters, business case, project plan, timelines/Gantt charts, stakeholder analysis, risk management plan, and communication/change management plan.
Progress Monitoring and Governance: Track and monitor project progress. Ensure rigorous project governance by maintaining project scope, timing, and cost controls across the various programs of the Supply Chain portfolio. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status of key initiatives, including milestone achievements and roadblocks.
Training and Support: Develop and deliver project-related training and support materials, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and project management rigor throughout Supply Chain.
Capital Strategy & Execution:Oversee the execution of distribution center capital expenditures (CapEx) projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Support strategy of future project evaluation, selection, and implementation of capital investments with Supply Chain Leadership to enhance SC capabilities and infrastructure.
Transformation Initiatives:Project manage key transformational initiatives such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Voice Picking implementations. Continuously identify opportunities for future process improvements, cost savings and efficiency gains across the supply chain ecosystem. Champion the culture of continuous improvement within the SC organization.
Real Estate Initiatives: Project manage and coordinate real estate initiatives, which would include lease renewal, building moves, and other network design initiatives.
Business Plan Execution:Project manage key Business Plan Execution (BPE) initiatives, ensuring successful completion that meets strategic objectives.
Change Management:Champion change management by developing and implementing strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, addressing resistance, and ensuring stakeholder engagement and adoption across all Supply Chain programs.

What Does It Take to be a Supply Chain Project Manager at Dawn Foods?
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, preferably within supply chain initiatives.
PMP Certification preferred.
Proven track record of successfully leading complex transformation and/or cross-functional initiatives from conception to implementation.
Strong understanding of Capex management principles, financial analysis, and investment decision-making.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure the impact of transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to adapt to evolving priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively.
