Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform duties for both cage and vault areas.
- Track guests for Title 31 purposes after reaching our internal threshold.
- Count down and balance bank and/or vault at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Complete fill requests and/or transfer monies between cashier windows and banks.
- Complete set-up requests from other SECR departments and Tribal entities as needed.
- Process cage orders, table games chip fills, soft count money drops, retail banking and gaming (RBG 300), and kiosk money box fills.
- Prepare monies and instruments of value to be verified by a Finance Supervisor for deposit.
- Fill TCD and RBG machines.
- Perform drop, fill, and maintenance duties on TCD and RBG 300 machines as needed.
- Perform assigned duties for all Sports Betting cashiering functions.
- Receive, distribute and account for Marketing and Hotel gas cards.
- Keep assigned area balanced; complete all required necessary paperwork, reports, and summary sheets to maintain proper accountability of assets.
- Sign up players for poker tournaments.
- Run and maintain the Finance poker cage.
- Cash out Poker guests and color up Dealers` chips.
- Cash out winning tickets for Pull Tabs; assist with the process for jackpot paperwork.
- Assist with the process when a guest requests a check for jackpot winnings.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and payouts to guests.
- Review and keep apprised of departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide input on new and changing SOPs.
- Adhere to SECR Associate Handbook policies and procedures.
- Comply with SECR safety rules and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

- Contact with associates within the department and the general public for the purpose of communication, and maintaining levels of guest service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Six months cash handling or cashiering experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
License, Certification, or Special Requirements:
- Native American preference shall apply to all positions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic accounting, math, and record-keeping practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of cashier operations and cash handling.
- Skill in basic math operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to complete and pass Title 31 training and assessment.
- Ability to operate a calculator, adding machines, and cash advance machines.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines.
- Ability to work extended hours and various work schedules.
- Ability to service guests in a professional manner.
- Ability to follow instructions and abide by department, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to handle and maintain accountability of large amounts of currency.
- Ability to operate a computer and all necessary programs, 10-key, and calculator. Ability to learn multiple computer systems for guest services.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associated with computer equipment or handling of currency.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending, stooping and squatting.
- Occasionally lift/push up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoking environment and contact with the general public. Constant visual stimulation via neon lights on slot machines, repeatedly changing machine video screens, static or flashing signs throughout the casino, and constant machine and crowd noise.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
