Manufacturing Manager for Dexter Site

At Medtronic Dexter, the Manufacturing Manager is responsible for all people, quality and Manufacturing areas across a three-shift operation. This role work with Managers / leaders from different functions to collaborate and deliver on the site goals and objectives.
The Manufacturing manager is responsible for deployment and leveraging our MPS (Medtronic Performance System) to establish Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) targets to run the business, select the key initiatives and projects to improve the business, and collaborate with functions to set breakthrough objectives and capacity planning to transform the business.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the development and / or implementation of strategies and activities in production area(s) to meet safety, quality, cost and people objectives.
Lead, coach and develop a team of manufacturing supervisors, team leads and production planning overseeing a total workforce of over 100 people in a schedule of 24 / 5 / 3 shifts operation.
Responsible to develop manufacturing capacity planning and manpower requirements to meet production demand.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
Employ lean concepts and techniques, working closely with production leadership and Operational Excellence (OpEx) to deploy MPS (Medtronic Performance System ) across Tier 1 & Tier 2.
Implement cost reduction, waste reduction, quality improvement, and productivity improvement programs to ensure attainment of key performance metrics and sustainable performance improvements.
Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Effective Communication Skills.
Functional Skills: Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience ,or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing systems
DMAIC Lean Six Sigma Certification
Manufacturing or Engineering Background preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in a matrix organization.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of employees.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
