Job Summary - Director, Nutrition Services
Oversees Nutrition Services operations at multiple Corewell Health locations. Key responsibilities include regulatory compliance, policy and procedure development, strategic planning, program development, capital planning, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, performance improvement and maintenance of collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. This role will frequently collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of the organization and Nutrition Services.

Essential Functions - Director, Nutrition Services
Provides strategic direction and takes the lead in the development of strategic goals to drive best in class operations in support of organizational strategic goals.
Accountable for service and quality improvement results (Press Ganey/HCAHPS) and regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operations of Nutrition Services.
Collaborates in the development of key success metrics. Monitors metrics and results. Ensures that department performance expectations are met.
Formulates department business plans.
Participates on various hospital committees and provides a single point of contact and coordination for Nutrition Services at locations of oversight.
Develops and manages the annual budget. Reviews and monitors the financial results of the sites.
Interviews, hires, orients, coaches and develops leaders and staff members. Assigns duties and responsibilities, evaluates performance, provides feedback and takes corrective action as needed.
Maintains current knowledge of business operations, and management techniques and models the behaviors embodied in the mission of Corewell Health
Qualifications -Director, Nutrition Services
Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (or equivalent education and experience) in Healthcare Management, Business or related field.
10 years of relevant experience. Progressively responsible leadership experience in an organization of the size and complexity of Corewell Health Required
Experience working with unions. Preferred
