Job Summary
*Assist Lead Photographer with photographing incoming inventory
*Assist photography team during setup, image procurement and end of day routine
*Perform backup photography duties and cross train
*Receive, prepare, scan and track products for image capture
*Create photo-realistic images and render images for corporate catalogs
*Import, edit and retouch images in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
*Oversee file management process to ensure performance and turnaround standards are consistently met
*Assemble and disassemble equipment and products as necessary for photo shoots
*Maintain and transport equipment between shoots when required
*Maintain organizational and safety standards at warehouse location
Qualifications
*Preferably reside in Lansing area
*Solid foundation of digital photography experience is required
*Understanding and familiarity with photography composition, equipment, and editing
*Proficient in the operation and use of digital camera equipment and studio flash
*Intermediate Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop retouching skills required
*Very comfortable with technology and willing to learn
*Flexible to travel
*Must have dependable transportation and be willing to traveling outside of Lansing when needed; at times more than 60 miles
*Ability to work in a warehouse environment
*Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
*Must communicate and conduct themselves professionally
*Must be reliable, hard-working and a team-player
*Must be able to adjust photography practices from constructive feedback
*Strict attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills are required
*Photography portfolio must be provided
*A photography degree is not necessary but preferred
This position is in a warehouse environment where sound/temperature fluctuations exist.
