Job Summary: The Lead Builder is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, supervising construction teams, and ensuring compliance with all safety and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.
- Address any issues or defects promptly to maintain project integrity.
- Ensure materials and workmanship comply with industry standards and project requirements.
Budget Management:
- Track project expenses and manage budgets effectively.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Compliance and Safety:

Client Communication:

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, schedules, and reports.
- Prepare and submit project documentation as required by clients and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years experience residential construction
- Proven experience as a Lead Builder or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
