Here’s the requirements for the Paratransit Driver Position
Picking up and dropping off clients from: Work, Home, All Medical and personal appointments.
Clients uses: Walkers, Rollators, electric and manual wheelchairs, regular canes, and guiding canes for the visually impaired. MUST PROVIDE DOOR TO DOOR ASSISTANCE.
Arrange to pick up customers on a regular schedule
Pick up or meet passengers according to request, appointment
Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles
Read maps and follow written and verbal directions
3. No felonies in the last eight years.
4. Must have a clean driving record, no more than three points in the last two years.
5. Must have a clean criminal background.
6. Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
7. Must pass D.d.o.t physical.
8. Must pass online passenger assistance safety and sensitivity course.
9. Must pass defense driving course.
10. Chauffeur license is preferred, but not MANDATORY.
11. Random drug and alcohol screening, once HIRED.
