As our Patient Access Supervisor, you will help the Patient Access Department in a multitude of service sites by establishing and implementing departmental initiatives, training, and educating associates on current processes and upcoming changes. Every day you will work in the Patient Access Department. To thrive in this role, you must have intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The supervisor needs to have demonstrated the ability to work well independently and in teams, possess good project management skills, have the ability to prioritize, multitask, work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while demonstrating strong leadership qualities, and good decision-making abilities. The supervisor will be responsible for reporting and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and KPI metrics providing subject matter expertise to help solve problems and provide solutions. The supervisor will be responsible for training and developing patient access associates.
Please be advised, this is a full-time role. The supervisor will work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 5am - 6pm EST depending on the needs of the business. The supervisor will work onsite at LifePoint Marquette General Hospital, 850 W Baraga Ave Marquette, MI 49855. The manager must be up to date on all vaccines (including but not limited to annual flu shot). We can help you with your vaccines at no cost to you. The representative will need to pass a background check and drug screen.?
Here is what you will experience working as a Patient Access Supervisor:
Developing and coaching team members in skills and processes to promote quality
Demonstrating advanced knowledge in patient registration and insurance verification, follow up/team processes and procedures
Preparing, analyzing, and providing daily, weekly, and monthly metrics reports on key AR metrics as assigned
Participating in weekly team meetings to drive performance excellence, daily rounding. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with client concerns with a sense of urgency
Serving as a liaison between hourly and management staff for training, quality, and general questions
Filling in production gaps when needed
Other duties as assigned
Building and maintaining good report with the hospital client
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $41,676.75 - $55,574.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
