Experienced Welder
We are seeking a reliable, skilled MIG welder to join our team. Candidates should have experience in MIG welding with strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings. AWS D1.1 experience is a plus, but not required This is a first shift position with hours being 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Responsibilities:
As part of a heavy fabrication team, welders are responsible for welding and fabricating various steel parts. Knowledge of all safety practices associated with welding, cutting and mechanical work. Candidate must possess welding experience and knowledge of all safety practices associated with welding, cutting and mechanical work.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read shop and architectural drawings.
- Familiarity with appropriate welding tools and procedures.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude, take directions from manager and work effectively with other teammates and by yourself.
- Must have the ability to stand over an 8-hour period.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
