K&W Cycle is seeking a Build and Prep Tech to perform equipment and vehicle assembly and preparation for customer delivery. On-the-job training provided.
Duties
- Retrieving crate or unit using a forklift, atv, or driving of unit.
- Opening of crate or unit (as it was shipped) and unpacking parts to be installed.
- Processing crate materials for recycling or return to manufacture.
- Assembling of unit using manufacture instructions which commonly include: roll cage, bumpers, roof, windshield, mirrors, speakers, body panels, wheels, skis, suspension, and seats.
- Prepping of unit entails using manufacture instructions, check list, and software.
- Prepping unit also includes: adding fuel, prepping/install battery, setting tire pressures, oil and fluid level checks, running unit and checking for safety/functionality, installing fire extinguisher, and checking/registering the electrical computer systems using manufacture software.
- Finally, cleaning and polishing of unit for delivery to customer.
