We are seeking a skilled Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure software and hardware components.
- Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated.
- Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions promptly.
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
- Maintain record of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues.
- Manage IT infrastructure including LAN, and VPN.
Experience and or Certifications can include:
- Linux, WatchGuard Firewalls, Cisco (firewalls, switches, and routers), and other Network appliances would be extremely useful.
- If you have experience in an ISP environment consider this a plus, (however, we are not an ISP).
- A+ and Network+ are considered as default certifications (or equivalent).
Requirements:
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and MacOS
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Experience in computer management and technical support is preferred.
You must have transportation which you are reimbursed (very well), and a cell phone including text messaging capabilities.
