Qualifications
1 - No prior experience required
2 - Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent
3 - A willingness to follow instruction
4 - Must have a valid driver's license and must demonstrate the ability to drive a motor vehicle safely
5 - Computer literacy and heavy equipment operation helpful
Duties
1 - Respond to calls outside of regular hours
2 - Satisfactorily complete all Company and regulatory required safety and operational training
3 - Operation of following equipment: stationary cranes, man lifts, forklifts, end loaders, street sweeper, all snow removal equipment
4 - Operate areas of plant operation, including but not limited to operate condensate systems, reverse osmosis, waste treatment, cooling tower, pumps & compressors, fermentation system, tank farm and all processes associated with the plant.
5 - Accurate data recording.
6 - Load and unload trucks and railcars with all products coming into and going out of plant, using meters or scales as required.
7 - Under close supervision, assist experienced employees as required in both maintenance and operations such as: installing & repairing piping for service water, drinking water, plastic piping, oil & hydraulic piping and hoses, drain piping, process piping, etc.
Hours
Union position with rotating 12-hour shift work (7 am 7 pm and 7 pm - 7 am), including holidays
