Extrusion Miter Saw- Panels (2nd Shift)
As an Extrusion Miter Saw Operator you have to cut and inspect aluminum extrusions.
Currently there is an opening for an Extrusion Miter Saw Operator in our Panels division on 2nd shift: (2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday)
*****Training will be required on 1st shift: Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM.
Panels Extrusion Miter Saw: Starting at $23.33 per hour on 2nd Shift!
Key Responsibilities:
Gather extrusions and cutting materials to cut jobs according to work orders.
Verify materials used before and after operations (correct quality, color, and material).
Measure and cut extrusion as stated in work order and illustrated on drawing.
Accurately adjust blade and guards on saw.
Interpret drawings for best cutting practices.
Create fixtures to cut materials to length/angle as needed
Perform dimensional inspections and inspect for cosmetic flaws on finished cut product.
Monitor saw on a regular basis and make changes as needed.
Notify Supervisor/maintenance of any equipment concerns immediately.
Read work orders and follow instructions and prioritize work orders.
Assist staging materials for production.
Completes necessary paperwork.
Fill out DMNs for defective products.
Performs inventory duties as needed.
Assist other departments as necessary.
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Continually looks for a way to improve job efficiency and performance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong attention to detail
Mechanically inclined
Ability to work overtime.
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
