ABOUT US:
We offer a Play-Based program which is a type of educational approach that focuses on children’s natural inclination to learn through play. This type of program is designed to develop the whole child’s social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Through play, children can learn important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. Play also provides an opportunity for children to develop social skills by interacting with their peers and learning how to share, take turns, and communicate effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A CDA, Associates, Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, or two years of working in early childhood education is preferred.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Supervise & Monitor children
· Follow a consistent schedule that includes small and large group activities, small and large group experiences, and effective transitions between activities.
· Use outdoor time as an extension of the classroom, make sure grounds are safe
· Plan and implement learning experiences that all developmental areas
· Sanitize the classroom and equipment daily.
· Monitor and report child abuse
· Assist with inventory and supplies
· Take the leadership role in the class
· Create a safe, welcoming space that values language, culture and individual traditions for children and family members
· Follow all state and agency guidelines
· Build strong foundations that enhance relationships with children and their families
WORKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids or tissues, communicable disease; Job require to lifting to 45 pounds, sitting, standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and bending for periods of time.
