Assists in claims review and problem resolution of company product returned for warranty consideration. Applies advanced skills to troubleshoot product warranty issues and provides technical support to customers and company personnel. Tracks product returned to all domestic locations and reviews field issues and warranty data with Engineering/Product Planning staff to ensure implementation of product improvements.
Qualifications Required:
Qualification 1: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; associate degree or equivalent in Business from two-year college or technical school preferred.
Qualification 2: Minimum five years’ related experience and/or training in customer service or sales.
Qualification 3: Or an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Qualification 4: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, operating/maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. Ability to present and speak effectively to top and middle management as well as with small groups and in one-on-one situations with customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to write reports and business correspondence and to be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to effectively present information and respond in one-on-one and small group situations.
Qualification 5: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Qualification 6: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations as well as those situations where only limited standardization exists.
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required 5%.
