Tool & Die (Entry Level): The Tool & Die Maker produces tooling, dies, and fixtures for the press, welding, deburring, assembly, and CNC departments according to AS9100 quality processes. This person will support the manufacturing floor by creating, updating, and repairing tooling used in day-to-day manufacturing. This work is essential in delivering parts of superior quality to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Follow department work order schedule based on priorities.
- Build and machine dies and tooling per engineering drawings at 100% accuracy.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical guides, and protectors to measure and validate the quality of work.
- Learn Lean Manufacturing techniques to help the department eliminate waste and downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to determine ‘better ways’ to serve our customers.
- Collaborate with quality and engineering team for process improvements, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:
- Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.
- Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
- Must be able to remain seated and/or standing for extended periods
- Must be able to operate shop resources with arms and hands
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana
- Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working
