Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician in a state-of-the-art chrome plating facility. This role includes a variety of responsibilities such as troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, running new pipes, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting facility repairs including minor plumbing and changing light fixtures. You will work on automated cranes, handle repairs that involve climbing at heights, and occasionally retrieve parts from chemical vats using a chain and pulley system.
Hard Skills
- Experience with overhead cranes, gearboxes, hydraulics, drivetrains, pumps for solutions, plumbing, boilers, air compressors, PPE, lockout/tag out procedures, welding (MIG, TIG, stainless steel, PVC), electrical troubleshooting, ability to read electrical prints, wire running, navigating through PLCs (Automation Direct)

This is a fully on-site position near downtown Grand Rapids.
Work Environment
Located near the airport off of Kraft Ave, our facility is geared towards professionals comfortable working around chemicals. All necessary PPE is supplied to ensure safety and compliance
