Job Description
A podiatry client of Insight Global's is seeking to add a contract accountant to their team in Chesterfield, MI. This role is a contract position that could potentially turn into a permanent opportunity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
Prepare and file tax returns
Enter accounting related information into business logs
Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
Organize and update financial records
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
Perform monthly bank settlements
Prepare documentation for external auditors

Skills and Requirements
4-7 years of accounting experience
Experience with bank reconciliations, cash postings, accounts receivable
Sage Intacct experience null
