What You Drive at DTNA
Filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster.
Drywall installation, finishing and wall paper hanging
Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level.
Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers, and applying epoxy floor coatings.
Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting.
Smoothing surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool.
General wood construction carpentry, including steel or metal studs.
Installation of doors and associated hardware.
Document work performed on repair order.
Determining the type and amount of material required for each project.
Transporting the materials and equipment to each work site.
Complying with all applicable safety regulations.
Training and managing apprentices and subordinates.
Additional Information
High School diploma or GED
High standard of integrity and professionalism
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
Industrial & Commercial painting experience (JORNEYMAN SKILL LEVEL)
Relevant State License
Good math and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing and rigging.
