Phoenix Industrial Services has partnered with a company in Inkster, MI that is looking for a Prototype Fixture Builder to join their team.
- Applicants will need to be very experienced with welding and reading blueprints.
- Qualified candidates would also have experience with automotive rack building.
- Set up Welding Machines based on the job or using welding procedure specification.
- MIG Welding.
- Design, Develop, and deliver fabricated fixtures for customers.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow and comply with all company guidelines and policies.
- Attention to detail.
- Focus on specific given tasks.
Up to $28/ HR based on experience.
Abilities and Skills:
- MIG welding to AWS standards. Required.
- Use of hand tools to fabricate fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, including but not limited to basic weld symbols.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Lift up to 60lbs.
- PP equipment required for Welders.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing welding steel products.
- Work in a face paced environment.
- Working overtime.
