We invite applications for multiple research fellow positions in the field of space physics with a focus on solar wind, coronal mass ejections, and solar energetic particles. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for more years subject to performance review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply theoretical models and numerical simulations in specified fields.
- Present research findings at conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in space physics.
- Collaborate with national and international research partners.
- Ph.D. in Physics, Space Science, or a related field.
- Strong background in space physics.
- Experience with data analysis, theoretical modeling, and/or numerical simulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with numerical simulations and parallel computing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as fortran, C/C++, and python.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to space physics data.
