Demonstrates SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers
Provides overall leadership and direction in areas of human resources including compliance, payroll, benefits, and compensation.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations with the expectation that employees feel that they receive fair/honest feedback.
Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the total rewards package for the company including compensation ranges, bonus levels, paid time off and leave policies. Recommend changes to adapt to changing employment landscape.
Key driver in annual benefit process including vendor selection, plan design, costing, and the employee experience through open enrollment.
Overall responsibility for maintenance and use of the HRIS system to ensure smooth payrolls, functionality and usage of the system by employees and managers and enhancing report and usage to support company business objectives.
Oversees leave administration to ensure legal compliance, a smooth user experience and efficiency of process to reduce disruption to the business.
Oversees the employee-facing portion of the KSOP. Serve on the KSOP Committee, maintain adequate knowledge, work to improve our communicating and understanding and oversee administration of parts of the plan.
Participates in department efforts to ensure consistency of process and policy implementation/enforcement including attendance policy, leave policies, disciplinary action etc. Recommends policy changes as needed and appropriate.
Overall responsibility for compliance and reporting, including EEO-1 and AAP report.
Works closely with management and employees to provide consultation and guidance to enhance open communication and trust, improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Tracks and improves the key metrics for the human resource department.
Provides support and guidance when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
Helps maintain a highly engaged culture that motivates employees, fosters an environment with high levels of teamwork, trust, entrepreneurship, customer service and excellence.
Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with laws and regulations.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
Able to perform job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
At least 5 years of human resource management experience required.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, Paylocity preferred.
Experience with compensation studies, leave administration, including high level knowledge of FMLA, STD, ADA etc.
Experience in an ESOP organization preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with good time management/organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality to support team and internal customers.
Ability to quickly adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Mostly office environment, occasional light manufacturing environment
